Bishop Brian D. Olden is the Pastor of Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  He has served in this capacity since October 3, 2021. 

Bishop Olden obtained his Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida under the tutorage of Dr. Leo Adams.  He also attended the Tennessee School of Religion in Memphis, Tennessee under the leadership of Dr. Rueben Green.  Bishop Olden surrendered to the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and was licensed to minister on March 8, 1987.  He was ordained to minister on July 30, 1989 under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Partee Pepper of Mt. Ollie M. B. Church, Clarkedale, Arkansas.  At the age of five, he knew he had been called by the Lord to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Bishop Olden was called December 1, 1995 to serve as Senior Pastor of the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship Church) in Blytheville, Arkansas. He served as Senior Pastor for 26 years.  In conjunction to being Senior Pastor at New Jerusalem, on January 15, 2012, he was also called to Pastor Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hernando, Mississippi where he served for 9 years and 8 months.

Bishop Olden was consecrated to the office of Bishop on April 26, 2008 by Bishop T. A. Moore, World Harvest Covenant Churches International Fellowship in Los Angeles, California.  Bishop Olden served on the LFCCF (Leaders for Change Christian Fellowship) Inc. National Staff as the Bishop of Christian Education.  Later, he was promoted to 2nd Presiding Bishop and then to 1st Presiding Bishop.

Bishop Olden is an anointed, appointed, dynamic deliver of the Word of God.  He ministers the Word of God with such passion, power, authority, and conviction that it changes the lives of all who hear him. His passion is demonstrated through his energetic messages and his compassion has enabled him to be a safe haven for those in need.  By opening your heart and mind to his prophetic message, you will be saved, strengthen in your spiritual walk, and challenged to fully commit your life to Christ Jesus.

Bishop Olden works diligently to ensure that Beautiful Zion maintains a “family-like” atmosphere.  He is accessible to every member of his congregation and every member takes pride in receiving a yearly birthday card from their Pastor. 

Bishop Olden is married to his lovely wife, Sandra, for over 30 years.  They have 2 children: Marcus and Briana; 5 grandchildren: Makayla, Zoey, Zada, Zelina and Zane.
