Our Ministries

Travis Wooten

 Christian men and women who have been given the task, by God, with the responsibility and honor of serving in the capacity of an Armor Bearer for our Bishop and church leaders.  They operate under the authority of Jesus Christ.

Director: Dorinda Jones

The Beautification Ministry’s focus is to ensure that God’s house is beautifully decorated as the season dictates.  We also ensure that the interior of the church is inviting and worshipful for members, visitors, and guests. 

Director: Patricia McCoy

The Care Ministry strives to keep in touch with all members of the congregation, letting them know the love, care, and concern the membership shares with one another during periods of hardship and bereavement, and to encourage prayer for one another. 

Chairman: Bishop Brian D. Olden

Provides, along with the Pastor, wise counsel and spiritual leadership to facilitate the growth of the entire congregation.  The deacons are servants of the church and assist the Pastor in all his efforts to carry out the vision given to him by God.

Director: Mother Easter Brown

The mothers of this ministry are respected older women who help support and nurture younger women in the church.  They also assist the Pastor and Deacons in serving the congregation through acts of service and spiritual nurture.  Members of this ministry are appointed by the Pastor.

To glorify God by manifesting His love for others and enhancing the worship experience – ensuring the creation of a uniquely warm and welcoming environment for every person entering His house.

Director:  Patricia McCoy

This ministry is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals for church supported activities. It also overseers the operation, use, cleanliness, and maintenance of the church kitchen.

Director:  Philica Smothers

 Music is a sacred part of worship which encourages unity of our voices as we praise our God.  This ministry serves the purposes of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, and leading the congregation in worship.

Provides support and organizes special celebrations for the Pastor and his family.

Director:  Pastor Robert Joyce

The members of our Outreach Department travel into the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Director:  Leester Gage

The Scholarship Ministry is dedicated in their efforts to assist our youth and adults in their education.

Director:  Lillie Thomas

Serves as doorkeepers and custodians of worship.

To create an environment for women to grow and learn about God and his Word; to laugh, cry, develop friendships, and come together with other women. Our ultimate goal is knowing Jesus and living for Him.

Director:  Tamara Coleman

Youth ministry is a vital part of any church’s ministry team.  It is responsible for developing and nurturing young people in the church.  The ultimate goal is to help young people grow in their faith.
